Yacht Deliveries
Annapolis Marine Services can arrange for delivery of your vessel (sail or powerboat) under 100 tons GRT to and from many locations in the U.S. and around the world. We may also have 200 ton GRT captains available on an as-needed basis for larger deliveries.
We have a number of Captains and Crew options available for deliveries, training, fill crew and cook/steward positions.
How Do We Calculate Our Quotes?
At Annapolis Marine Services, we understand that every delivery is unique, influenced by a myriad of factors. Our team takes into account all variables, from route planning to provisioning, ensuring a seamless delivery process. Additionally, we provide tailored training to new owners, their families, or crew, covering the specifics of the boat and essential navigation rules.
Our pricing is as customized as our services. It considers various factors such as distance, crew size, vessel type, route, and the boat's sustainable speed under different conditions. We provide a comprehensive daily rate that includes the necessary crew for your delivery. Costs related to provisioning, transportation, and other one-time fees will be quoted or estimated as required.
We cater to your preferences by offering two types of quotes: a complete package quote for those who prefer an all-inclusive price, or an itemized per person quote for those who want a breakdown of costs. With us, your needs always come first.
Our Quote Includes:
Captain Fee: $100/hour for partial day rate or $600-$1000/Day for multi-day passage (varies with crewed delivery and training). We can supply STCW certified staff for commercial, passenger, and charter vessels.
Second Captain Fee: $350-$450/Day when required/requested by insurance.
Crew Fee: $150-$250/day per crewmember based on skills and experience.
Steward/Cook Fee: $180-$300/day per steward/cook depending on skills and number of people to be fed. If a crewmember doubles as a cook, add $30/day.
Onboard Diesel Mechanic Fee: $900/day (excluding parts, consumables, or large repairs).
Fuel: Owner's responsibility; only estimated in the quote.
Transportation: Typically paid by the owner, can be included in our packaged quote.
Provisions, Dockage & Meals Ashore: Usually paid by the owner, can be bundled into our rate.
Safety Equipment: Supplied by the Captain if not available on the vessel, and may be an additional charge.
Other Equipment: Supplied by the owner or Captain, as needed.
Garmin Live Tracking and Daily Reports: $100.00/week.
Duration Guarantee:
We estimate the delivery duration based on our experience. In case of weather or mechanical delays, we switch to a lesser per diem rate or pause charges. If our manpower causes a delay, those days are not charged. Safety is our priority; we won't risk your vessel, our crew, or ourselves to meet a schedule. We avoid named storms within 300 NM and secure the vessel until any threat passes.
